When David began experiencing persistent gagging while eating, he sought medical care at Sanford. During evaluation, doctors discovered a mass on his liver. Shortly afterward, David was admitted with severe sepsis caused by E. coli. His condition became critical, and he developed respiratory failure along with other complications.
David was referred to Vibra Hospital of Fargo to begin his recovery.
